MEET THE TEAM

AMY
Amy founded Dog & Bone back in 2016. Previously working in education with primary children she changed her career and decided to put her attention towards all your furry children instead. Now many years later, she believes it was the best decision she could have made. She has two cocker spaniels herself, Ziggy and Teddy, aswell as her son, Felix, who we welcomed to the world/joined the Dog & Bone team in October 2021. Amy also runs another business, The Mum Club, an events company set up for Mums to make new friends.

CHESS
Chess has been with Dog & Bone since Feb 2018! After finishing her architectural studies at university, she initially applied to Dog & Bone part time while applying for university jobs, however this all changed and fast forward a few years she had found her true calling of working with dogs and it's fair to say Dog & Bone wouldn’t be the same without her! With her natural ability and can do attitude, she has become loved by all the dogs and clients. (Plus a special shout out to her springer spaniel, Phoebe, who has become a beloved Dog & Bone mascot ) Chess is also a Dog First Aid trainer, providing courses to the whole of the South Midlands.

JOELY
Joely has been with us since June 2024 and since then has proven just how dedicated and hard working she really is. After previously working for another local dog walking service, Joely arrived to us with plenty of experience and an obvious love of dogs. Since starting with us, the dogs have become truly attached to her and her caring nature. We honestly dont know what we would do without her. Joely also has her own dog too, Vallis, a long haired pointer.

LEAH
Leah is our newest recruit, joining us in February 2025 and it’s easy to see how much the dogs love her. Previously working at a horse yard, it was easy for Leah to transfer her hands on experience with horses to dogs. Leah has two dogs of her own, Bella, a Sprocker Spaniel and Bonnie, a Labrador. She also has a chicken and 3 sheep and is also the Chairman of the Young Farmers! Despite being with us for the shortest time, Leah has already shown us her devotion to the dogs as well as her positive attitude and has fit seemlessly into the team.
